Computer Lab
The BoulderReads! computer lab is located on the second floor mezzanine at the north end of the Main Branch of the Boulder Public Library. It is available for use by BoulderReads! adult literacy students and their tutors, BoulderReads! Reading Buddies and their big buddies, and children of adult literacy students.
The computer lab is not open to the general public.
The computer lab is open during regular library hours. The lab consists of one printer and 3 PCs with headphones. The following skill building software for adult new readers is available in the lab:
- HEC Reading Horizons
- Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing
- Internet Explorer web browsers
- OMTI-Rogers
- Teknimedia Computer Skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and WordPerfect
- Talking Book CDs for children
